Our free trial is completely free, with no commitment to purchase. You don't need to enter your credit card details, so once your 7 days are over there are no automatic charges.

All videos you create during your trial will contain the VideoScribe watermark unless you purchase a subscription.

If you are a freelancer, agency or business creating videos on behalf of a third party, i.e. reselling the videos you create, or charging for the use of your videos in any way, you must purchase a Max plan as these include reseller rights.

If you are a business or an individual user creating videos for commercial or personal use but not reselling your videos, then you can choose the plan most suited to your requirements and how much you intend to use VideoScribe. 

If you require team licences (i.e multiple licences under one subscription) you need to buy Core or Max subscriptions.

Commercial rights (included in all subscription plans) enable you to create videos that you can use to promote a business or product.

These differ from reseller rights (only included in Max plans), enabling you to resell the videos you create within VideoScribe to third parties. This is necessary if you are a freelancer or business that produces videos on behalf of a third party or client.

If you are creating videos within VideoScribe for a third-party and charging them for the creation of that video, or charging for the use of that video in any way, you require reseller rights. Reseller rights are only included in the Max plan.

You can pay via all major credit and debit cards or using a PayPal account. Other payment methods may be available depending on your country, you can see those in the checkout.

We offer discounts for charities, not-for-profits and education users:

• Charities and non-profits in the US and UK: claim 50% discount here

• Teachers, students and educational institutions: can get up to 25% discount -- apply here

• For students in the UK and US, you can also take advantage of our discounts directly through UNiDAYs.

We sometimes run short promotions and discounts on our annual subscription. Subscribe to our marketing emails to ensure you don't miss the next one.

Also, if you purchase 5 or more licences then you qualify for a discount. The more you buy, the bigger the discount.

To keep things running smoothly for everyone and ensure fair usage, we’ve set limits to balance access and performance. These limits help us maintain quality, keep costs down, and continue improving your creative experience with VideoScribe.

To help your team get started with VideoScribe you can purchase a training and content bundle. These include dedicated video training, delivered by one of our customer success team. We'll also prepare your logo so it animates within VideoScribe and you can choose to have our team customize a number of the video templates within VideoScribe in your company branding.

Yes, VideoScribe plans are recurring subscriptions. If you choose a monthly term, you will be charged every month on the same date. If you choose an annual term, you will be billed on the same date every year unless you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by selecting the cancellation option on your account page.

If you cancel at least three business days before your next scheduled payment, that payment won’t be taken. You can read our payment terms here.
